North America

The website Answers.com said that the Europeans were trying to find a new life in North America. They also came to find the Northwest Passage is a shortcut between Atlantic and Pacific oceans to Asia. Dale A. Lambert says that the explorers failed to find the entrance of the passage but instead they found North America exist. They couldn't go through the faster way because they would run right into Canada. They didn't want to go around South America so they thought that they would try to find a passage but they would have ran into Canada.

Three Main Theories

The land bridge is the bridge made of land that was dropped to make the land bridge, and it was the bigger land piece. The ice bridge is the Bering strait that froze, so  people could go over the bridge. The Continental shelf was about when it connected Asia and Alaska so people could walk across. That is the three main theories we believe are true. I believe the land bridge is the most believable, because the bridge that dropped over time separated Asia from Alaska, so you can actually see that theory.
